We've managed to survive a week of togetherness through keeping busy in all kinds of fun camps and activities. Ariana and Evan started off the week by attending gymnastics camp on Monday and Tuesday at Oklahoma Gold Gymnastics. Ariana really thought she was a budding gymnast until she "injured" her knee by falling wrong off the zip line into the foam pit...she should realized is that she definitely has a career in acting! Wednesday was a day of beauty for Ariana. We saw Miss Terra and got almost 5 inches cut off Ariana's hair. Ariana's whole attitude has changed since Wednesday afternoon, she's not near as whiny and has been so much more pleasant to be around! Almost like a Sampson complex or something....Thursday and Friday were spent at the Oklahoma City Zoo and a zoo it was out there! Ariana and Evan attended zoo camps both days and Tye Hill and I spent both days "discovering" the zoo. This was the first time that Tye really got what the zoo was about. We spent most of our time at The Great Ape Escape, because Tye loves the monkeys! Takes one to know one! He ate is lunch in there both days, and the gorillas sat right at the glass and watched him eat every bite, especially the huge silver back, Tatu. Tye wasn't too sure about sharing his lunch! Today has been a lazy day with Ariana and Evan spending time at Bebe and Gangan's house, and Tye Hill and I taking a nap......Evan is really ready to get back to school, everyday he has asked if he gets to go to school today, much to Ariana's chagrin and Ariana keeps asking if we can go on a trip for Spring Break next year....can you say high maintenance?!
